YOu can put your chooks you want to sell, in produce boxes, or move them to a friends a day before in boxes and then bring them from there.
IF I have any to sell I will be bringing them in a box.

And a wire cage for them to live in for the weekend.

Thats good to know. I could probably bring my lab mix but my giant mix would be too hard. I don't think we would make it in the car with 2 adults, a 1 1/2 year old, and both dogs, plus any chickens to sell. LOL! So maybe I can pawn off my big dog on my sister for the weekend. He also has some aggression issues with other dominant dogs so I wouldn't want him to cause trouble. I think if I give my chickens enough food and water they should make it home alone for a few days.
How does it work with the camp sites? Do you pay for each individual site or is it all in one? I have no idea how this all works so if anyone can give me a walkthrough that would be great!

Good Morning Everyone! Looks like 2-3" of white stuff out there. I get to play on the tractor!

But I see the wind is blowin pretty good.

ODrH looks like mama is doing a good job of keeping them fed. Cute! Bigz looks like you stepped in it. Now you have to answer all the questions.

But I know you won't mind. Saturday will be the big doings at the Bash for those of you planning a day trip. Friday and Sunday are bonus days. WiCc congrats on all the big news! DA was just thinking about winter yesterday, we get through this month and next then it'll start to thaw. Spring is just around the corner.

Gotta go dig out my hot pickled egg recipe. Football starts this afternoon. Should be some great games! Come on Packers!

Morning all,

I went and caught myself a nice cold

Booo. Sore throat, I hate sore throats! I would rather be stuffy all day than have a sore throat. And I brewed some coffee and it tastes TERRIBLE (it's like folgers and we only buy bean usually cause we have a grind and brew) and I used the last of the creamer so I couldn't remake it if I wanted to. Maybe hubby will pick me up a brew on the way home from work (he worked 3 am til 9am..i'm keeping track now) Slept like crapola last night, woke up every 2 or so hours. DS woke up at 8ish which was nice, sometimes he can wake up as early as 630!

Got out of the house yesterday, which was nice. I feel in a much better mood today because of it. Me and my gf went to the soup house for some yummy soup (which lo and behold, BIL and SIL had the same idea!!), then we went to some little stores and a thrift store. I give anyone credit who can purchase things at a thrift store. For some reason I just can't do it. I can usually buy used items off craigslist, as long as they are clean! I couldn't buy clothes, I just mentally can't for some reason. I can buy plates and such, so I was on the lookout for mason jars, pickle crocks (yeah right but you never know!), pressure canner and any cool glasses. Nothing. My friend got like 6 VHS movies for her son, as he has a VHS player in her room. Good deal for her! It was 1/2 off at the thrift store too, so she got em for $3. Then we went out to get coffee, and also went out for dinner. I spent my allowance for the next 2 months!

But it was worth it. Fun to hang out with her.

Well, I have a very messy house but I think I may wait to clean it until i'm feeling better. No sense in cleaning it if it's going to make me feel worse

Almost Noon To All....Just finished cleaning up the snow around the house. I need to wait and finish the driveway later after the plow goes through. Hope to get er done before the games begin. Glad the first one isn't ant noon.
In regards to the banner, I'm sure we won't really need it up til Saturday for the main event and pictures. I guess the chickenstock thread and banner help needs to be grabbed by the reins if BL4 doesn't want to do it?

In regards to the dogs. GothChick you kinda have the right idea about them kept under control and cleaned up after if they deposit on the main lodge grounds. We want to keep this people friendly for everyone.They won't be allowed in the lodge, but being summer and 60 wooded acres to walk them or tie them when your not spending time with them will work.

We have a area for rustic tenting and camping with fire rings if you like that. Most folks set their tents up on the lawn ajacent the main lodge to be closer to the water and restooms. No additional charge for having a tent.
The lodge has two bunk rooms with 12 bunks each. You need to proviide the sleeping bags or bed linen. The bunks are vinyl covered. However the pets won't be allowed in there.
RV hookups are available in the circle drive in front of the lodge with electric pedestals. The fee is $12 for that hook-up.
The only additional fee would be for the RV hook-up.
Free Will offering will be taken to cover expenses, so while their isn't fees for anything the cost for the facilites will need to be covered...$50 for Friday and Saturday. I'll pick up the $30 fee for Sunday.

Bigz, just had to log on to say thanks for reserving the camp. And we love Kropf's too! My dad has been taking his pigs there for 30 years, really nice folks with great products.
