TO, good luck with your ewe! Poor baby! One of the reasons I have balked at owning sheep; lambing in February is NOT a good time! You should read up on your James Herriot for some pointers perhaps?

Sounds like this is the last cold one for a while. 20 degrees will feel balmy after this cold stretch.
Nice to hear the hatches are going well for the most part.
I'm on way out to collect eggs and check on the flock, then I think I'll have an eye opener to set the proper mood for a big Packer win!

Thanks BL4, I just get so mad sometimes when people say stuff like that.

I work very hard to be the best mom I can be, and then someone says "oh cause you're a young parent you know nothing" just TICKS me off! I'll get off my soapbox about it, I just wish people would stop stereotyping (doesn't everyone?) sheesh!

During the packer game I am going to do some cooking for the week. Mainly for little D. Make up a batch of Strawberry oatmeal (with strawberries I picked off a farm and had frozen) yum!! and a batch of pancakes to freeze. He loves oatmeal and pancakes over cereal, and I don't mind giving it to him. He also loves yogurt, and I hope to one day make that. I think once this semester is over I will play with that. Seeing as I'd want to make homemade granola as well (been putting this one off for AWHILE). Then I'm going to make up spedinis and if there is extra i'll freeze a small package of them.

Sent hubby to the store, as it's still way too cold for me to go out

Getting some groceries and finally some creamer for my coffee! I sooo need a cuppa this morning, so crabby without it!

Oh you two are preaching to the choir! I may have been 21 when my oldest DD was born but I looked like I was 16....... and I know the looks you are talking about. Then tell people you had your kids at home on purpose with a midwife; they think you are certifiable!!!! WHAT? NO DRUGS????? What if something went wrong and the baby died or you died?????? Sheesh, like the midwife just 'shows up' and catches the baby......

Mine would bring at LEAST 5-6 large suitcases loaded with equipment and supplies that she never had to use.
