Was there anyone looking for a Buckeye or a Maran roo?
I saw this ad on the CL.

8 roosters, 11 months old (give or take a week). They're not culls, I just have way too many roos.
3 Blue Cochin roos, full size (large, chunky, heavy), correct feathering/colors. Decently friendly
2 Dark Cornish, good sized. broad chested. (NOT real friendly...but excellent field alarms)
1 Cuckoo Marans, BIG boy. From a decently dark, x-large egg
1 Buckeye. Peacomb, good mahogany color, slate underneath.
1 Black copper Marans. too much red on his chest, and lost part of his comb this winter to frostbite. (he's from a super dark X-Large egg)
These guys are NOT hatchery birds..we hatched them from eggs purchased from 4-H show stock and a show breeder. Free ranged on good pasture. cracked grains from feedmill over winter. Currently in Dodgeville area, can be delivered around there, or brought to Madison area.
There is an animal swap in Freeport this saturday.. Anyone going?
Stay dry and safe out there folks
Carol
