Uber Beautiful Evening All!
What an absolutely gorgeous day it was today! Kinda makes up for the yuck weather! The birds we sun bathing, dust bathing, chattering, and yelling for treats all day today!
Oh! I have a Buzzy Update! Buzz is growing her tail!!! It is so cute and scrawny looking. I will take her pic and post it tomorrow! I'll also take one of Cornie. The jury is still out on whether Cornie is a Cornelius or a Cornelia. But Cornie is huge!! And sassy....
Ok, so....
I love the Bash stories and the pics! Love TO's cake. It looks sooooo gooooood!!
I don't remember who asked? but if y'all need help in planning a So Wis bash, I'd be willing to help/be on a or the committee. The only weekend I have an event already is Sept. 10. That is the weekend that Mad City Chickens is having their Tour De Coop aka The Coop Tour. Other then that, I've got nothing going. So I vote we don't plan the So Wis Bash on Sept 10th!!!
to loadsofeggs! Or should I say welcome back!!
What kind of chickens do you have? It that info in your siggy? I cant remember!
dk-that is too bad that the new pooch did not work out.
As hard as it is to give him back, you are doing the 100% right thing. It's tough when the dogs have so much baggage from their previous life, and sometimes they never really recover. Your safety and the safety of your family both human and furry has to come first. As hard as it is to let him go back, you are to be commended for giving him a chance to get in the right home where he can get the help and patience he will need to become the dog you know he could be. I've done rescue work and have had dogs come back that were not the "right fit" for the family that adopted them. Invariably, those same dogs always got adopted by the family that fit them better, where they could thrive and finally find the peace that they need. I will say good luck prayers tonight for him.
Oh yeah one more thing here, Emma has taken the "which eggs to keep" question out of my hands! She kicked out 1 Large Fowl and 2 Bantam eggs. So she is setting rather grumpily of 2 Large Fowl eggs and 1 Bantam egg. So, hopefully she will not kick anymore out of her nest and she can get down to business! Good gravy! Here I though incubating my own eggs was stressful! If she kicks all the eggs out then I'll just...
Well, I'm gonna go get some ice cream and play some more Angry Birds.... Night everyone!
