Did anyone decide on
where the bash is going to be? Either the 1st or 8th is good for me. I have no problems with those others joining us either.
FT, love your dog. And why, oh why, do people insist on tearing down barns?!?!?!?!? Are they nuts??????
I WANT!!!!!!!
Cind, it was me. I didn't specify this week, just sometime since we're pretty close by, so no pressure.
If DH & I are riding around on the bike in your area sometime, we could swing by. I hope Ruddy works out for you. Your chicks are so cute, and I know how frustrating it is to try to get a non-fuzzy shot of them. I had to take at least 20 pics to get one good one when my gals were little.
Good for you, DrH. You can never have enough chicken coops.
Those BAs are such easy-going & well mannered birds. So is B2 hiding a nest on ya? Wish I had fesh cukes & beans this year.........
BBP, I agree with Jim. Those neighbors are just being petty. Prolly are chronic complainers. Since that is the case, I'd definitely get a barking dog. Maybe it'll drown out the roos crowing.
The next time someone tells you they'd like to come & shoot your roo, tell em to go ahead & try; you need some target practice.
I'd love your friendly roo, BTW. He's beautiful! And he'd sure look nice with my Aussies. I wish I lived closer.
TO, I never heard of the paranormal activity at Bong either. That site did have some interesting historical info, though. Sorry to hear about your horse.
Amy, good luck with the eggs, all of them.
Kris, cute pics! Beautiful daughter you have!
DK, you could try to make your coop & run a fall/winter project and get chicks in the spring. I know that seems like forever, but you could use the extra time to plan things out & really be prepared, &/or surf CL for kennel panels/fencing for the run? I'm glad to hear someone showed to help the calf.
Raim, I think I would have told him where he could put that net. There's no way I'd let someone chase my chickens around with a net. I'm happy you sold some, though. And congrats on the washer.
