Jim, I'll email you with my email address. I have a different one that I've been using.
I've been trying to wean myself off of frontiers email since I have to keep a 10 hour plan for $13 a month with them so I can access my old emails. I have thousands !!! NO COMMENT I guess you can call me an Email hoarder !!!!
I pay $40 for celcom's broadband, I think that is what they call it. Have an Antenna thingy, and it works either plugged into my desktop or no wires on my laptop !!
I couldn't load a picture on dial up with fronter. They let me try the celcom for the weekend to see if it would work in my area since I am on the boarder of service for all cell phones up here. Well, I loaded 10 pictures within a few minutes. When I had to disconnect it to bring it back I felt I was disconnecting a life support !!! I signed up imediately !!! I was able to finally start selling eggs on the auction cause I could include pictures !!! Well worth the money, although I wouldn't complain if it were cheaper.
Anyway, spent the whole day yesterday, well from afternoon until 9pm at the feedstore,
walmart, getting my bloodwork done for doc appointment, Dollar General and local grocery store !!!
I'm beat !!
Had big plans to get up early to get some things done around here today, yeah right, doesn't quite work out when you get up at 12:45pm.
I've got a few questions for all of you cooks out there.
How do you roast red peppers ?? Reason I ask. When we ate at the Rhinelander Pub on Wednesday they had the most delish Red Potato soup with roasted red peppers. It had adoulle sausage, rep potatoes, celery, and roasted red peppers in a cream soup.
So does anyone know how I should go about making this ???? I don't wanna screw up. DH said to roast red peppers you roast them on an open flame until they are charred. Then put them in a plastic bag and shake off the black. Gotta be an easier way. I have an electric stove so no open flames in the house (good thing, dust bunnies would ignite !! LOL)
So do you think I should brown the sausage in olive oil before I put them in the soup or just add them (it is precooked) What about the potatoes. Should I cut them up, boil them (with skins) then drain or should I use the potatoe water as part of the soup base?
I don't know why I am so particular about this, but it was so Ham good that I want it to be perfect !!!! I would not doubt put the celery in with the potatoes near the end so they get done. We don't have patients around here to wait for things to slow cook !@! LOL
Now find out my sister and BIL are coming up to the Cabin to close it up this weekend. So there goes another few days without staying home !!! Don't get me wrong, I love my sis and want to see here but man Oh man, I'm tired and just wanna stay home !!!
Got alot to do before I come down next week and sitting here on BYC ain't getting things done !!! Ham this internet !!!! LOL
Jim, looks like we will need hay during the middle of the week, DH has to leave work to go down to get it. So not sure when that will be. ???????? I'll let you know a day or two in advance. I may just have to come down to get them.
Ok, signing off for now anyway, well after another cuppa !!
