Well, I did a great AADDDHDD (or whatever) thing tonight! Went to give Duke his pills ( 2 doggie tranquilizers , 2 relax and sleep, 1 benedral, 1 aspirin, and the joint stuff) pored them in my hand, went to the counter where I had his bowl, grabbed my soda and downed his pills!

Wouldn't have been so bad if I were ready for bed but.... I had to finish cleaning up the supper mess, get the 2nd load of dishes in the dishwasher, clean up the messes in the bathrooms, clean 3 cat boxes and get the garbage ready to go out in the morning. Oh, and keep the fire stoked so hubby wasn't cold when he gets up, and make the chicken mash for the morning!

I could have let some of it go 'till tomorrow (today to you all) but DS's case workers are coming! And garbage day is thur.

I think I can sleep now.... night!

Bigz thanks for checking on Jim glad to hear everything is ok! Had a most aggrivating morning yesterday. I wanted to make sure the splitter was running alright before I pulled it out back. I could not get it to run I went through the entire fuel and elec systems. When I finally ran out of possibilties I checked the oil. I had just changed it the other day. When I took the cap off oil ran out. The fill hole is somewhat in accessible and when I put the new clearer oil in I obviously should have used a flashlight to check the level. Drained nearly a third of a qt out 2 pulls it fired and ran like a too well oiled mochine.

BFF came over just as I was pulling it out back so he helped split for awhile still have 2/3 of the pile to go. He pulled the card on his trail cam 3 different bucks a spike a seven pointer and a nice big 8. Both the 7 and the 8 had swollen necks, the rut is on. FT the vertical points are called tines and what their attached to is called the main beam. A spike is the term for a young buck that only has 2 points total. When I was working on the splitter I was watching Peatwo poor lil buddy was shivering.. I picked him up and stuffed inside of my coat for awhile. He didn't think it was a good idea. Next couple of days is gonna be getting some odds and ends crossed of the list.

BBP I like Kent feed too. I gave up trying to get it on a regular basis. I drive to Osseo to Stockmans and half the time they are out of it.
I have been getting Game bird flight developer at River Country Coop now for the last few weeks and am happy with it. It seems like the bird eat less of it~ one bag lasted almost a week~ran out on the weekend so I got a bag of Flock Raiser and they ate the whole bag in 2 1/2 days. Geesh.

Awe peatwo sounds chilly.

Poor guy. Hope he does ok ithis fall.

Good morning! So much to comment on and so little time! Of course the day I have to go to work early I overslept! I have fortified myself with some apple raisin rice pudding and a cuppa....I hope I am ready to have a productive day!
Cind---it was your turn to make me choke on my coffee this morning! As soon as I read that you picked up your soda I knew what was coming! Too funny...so are you barking today? As long as you dont start to lift your leg when you pee you will be OK!

Loved the "colored baby" comment too! I didnt catch that until I read the response...man, that is CHEAP for mittens! I just got a call from my friend and her newest rand was born last night! 7#14oz and 21" His name is Phoenix Scott! I think it sounds like a movie star! (his grandad hates it

Glad you figured out your splitter's problem DrH! Doncha just hate it when stuff doesnt work? At least you have the powers to fix it though!
OK I have to go to work so I will have to make more comments later...there wasw something else...oh yeah--FT, I dont use that feed but I do use a few others that come in that type of bag...I will start saving them. Right now I use them for the other bags cause they dont melt if they get wet!

Hey again

I used to have some doves, but I couldnt keep them in the house for warmth so I gave them to a friend. She took them to her work place. She just loves them. I made a big aviary for her too.

Well anyway, I just found out that there was an arsonist that started a fire

where she works. Did $5K damage and stunk up her whole work place. They will probably be shut down for a month.

Doves couldnt survive that right? Well the arsonist moved all the doves (7) into seperate cages and moved them all to the opposite side of the building. They are all ok.

How thoughtful of the arsonist.

Must have took him a couple hours to move those doves.

I am glad they are ok though.

Now I gotta get to work!
