Our 2 adult cats take turns sometimes at waking me up from 4-5 AM. My favorite retribution is to wake them up during the day and asking if they were sleeping. WERE YOU SLEEPING OH I'M SORRY! go back to sleep. Half an hour I repeat. Works for a few days.

Gotta agree Jim no good place for a cut but when it happens it's always at a joint either it opens up or is in the way of progress have used nail clippers many times to remove offending hide. Think the worst thing is if your going to bang your hand it's always at the point of the owie! I suspect there's some kind magnatisim there.

Ok, got an hour before I leave to get the tires put on the truck !!! Another 60 mile round trip. Found my cel phone, under my recliner. OH and TO I thought you are a brunette ????? Call the phone sounds like such an easy solution, why didn't I think of that , Oh wait I did, the battery was dead !!! LOL

MLH no offense taken, that is my whole plan to feed more scratch to keep their crops full and just give their required amount of protein.

Well going out to measure my hens for their aprons/Christmas presents. One of they BYCr's has a special 6 pack. Get 4 aprons and 2 diapers, any size for $25. Free shipping. With the holiday coupon/special you get an additional $5 off. So $20 for 6 isn't bad. Then I plan on making my own.

Will hit the Peaceful Valley store when I am in town. That is where I got the heated hose for $25. The original customers receipt was in the box and they had paid $137.
This store sells returns, overstock and expired products from Foster and Smith out of Rhinelander. Never know what you will find in that store.

ps Realized why DH is such a pain in the A$$ and that is putting it mildly !!!! He was cutting down on his chew and I think ran out !!!! Why the heck he started doing that I'll never know but he is alot happier doing it. Maybe he wants to look like all the other hill billies up here hey ? He has a bottom lip that sticks out anyway so he looks rediculous !!! And you can tell he hasn't been doing it for years. Looks like a teenager that is smoking for the first time !!!

Betcha you can tell that he ticked me off this am hey?????? Like I don't do enough around here. What about driving HIS Deer to the butcher. Taking HIS TRUCK for brakes and tires?????? And Who made all the calls ??? Ok I'll stop, Sur wish chew didn't cause cancer and disfigurement ! I'd buy it by the case for him and invest in the Company !!

MLH thank you for the awesome response! Now I guess my question is-how to get light to the coop/barn LOL....Im actually pretty excited thinking about this....I would actually be able to go out and spend some time with them when I get off work. I swear-this has become an addiction with spending time with them and right now that means weekends only.

good day, I went to maynard's and bought a switch/recpt. wired it up to control the recpt with the switch.. put it into the chicken coop.. now we don't have to pull the plug on the heater anymore..

No eggs today from the geese.. I think they found a place to hide a nest.. If this keeps up, they will stay locked up until late afternoon.. It might be that they are just skipping a day,, but suddenly, all four of them ?? uh uh,,,will watch them real close tomorrow.. I think they are hanging around the pines a lot..

MLH, with due respect,, I cannot buy the comment about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 eggs per day by leaving lights on 24/7.. it still takes a day to lay an egg.. furthermore,, stressed chickens tend to quit laying, not increase their productivity..

Well, my day has sucked so far. Drove 33 miles to get the new tires, turns out they gave me the wrong size (3 people in the last 2 days looked up my truck so it wasn't me), and they don't have the right size. Plus the are going to cost me $200 more !!!
To top it off I check the tracking on my paint roo and he has been missent. Went to GreenBay instead of Wausau. Then missed the afternoon ride to Wausau so hopefully will be on the truck at about 2am to Wausau then hopefully to Crandon then to me. So tomorrow will be another long day. And I feel a cold coming on !! RATS !!!

Now I was reading this FT and I actually did spit my drink right out on my computer!!! You and CC have SUCH a great attitude about your situations--I just appreciate it every time you guys say something so funny! OK--the reason this was so funny to me is this story: My DD4, my DS1 and I were at a store and I picked up this outfit for DS. It was near Easter time so it had a button down shirt, bow tie, vest and dress pants hanging on the hanger. I said "wont he be so cute wearing this?" She said, "what is he going to do...hop?" I almost lost it right there in the store!!! (well, guess you had to be there!) Suffice to say it was dam^ funny!

DD(yes the same one) wants to go to Kohls to buy stuff for the Christmas Neighbor family...so even better that I reminded her of this story! They have 2 babies so we will be able to look at cute baby stuff! Maybe I will be on later...Terri O​

Welcome FLEA!!!

Hi all, I have to give a dozen eggs away... I have 2 doz in the fridge and no bread to make french toast, potatoes to make eggs and hash, or cake mix. Maybe I will take up cooking and send the DW out for the ingredients...

My DD9 is struggling to care for the chickens, she is supposed to check on them 2x a day to collect eggs and refill water. She then reports to me on the whole situation and I do the tough things like refill food and shovel poo. When I got home tonight I had some time so I went and checked the coop, NO water, NO feed. I was really upset... Now is punishment time... Hopefully she will learn, any thoughts for my DD9?
