Good afternoon--just stopped by for a cup of coffee...the dentist was OK...I traded off having the dentist look at my teeth for two x-rays cause it had been a while for them...nothing new; but my teeth sure feel good! Now I have to drink coffee and stain them up again! LOL!
FT-I watched that video the first time you posted it...I had seen it before. I think it is amazing that they can train them to do that! Didnt have to watch it over and over though...woman--ya need to get a life!
No additional babies born today...of course now that they are all nice and confined...it would only figure! I did see some brand new wormies while doing house keeping on my meal worm bins! Really have to strain your eyes to see them for sure!
Jim it is funny that you say how nice the snow looks when it first falls...I had that exact same thought when I went through the gate this morning! Thinking how, in an hour, it would look so trampled down! 35 geese really do a good job for sure! My guineas are starting to lay. I found a couple eggs in the coop.
One bad thing this morning...I heard the cat jump down onto the incubator and heard a crack! The tub-o-lard cracked the top right between the windows! It oushed back up into place but now I have t keep a cookie sheet on top so they dont press it back down by laying on it! I checked the eggs when I opened it and one had quite the crack/hole in it.
I took some of my scrapbook sticky tabs and taped over it. It was into the air space so I hope the chick will be alright. It was one of the ones from my coop. There are 5 of the ones you brought Bigfam that are developing...lockdown already at the end of the week! This has gone by quickly! I wont candle again (I dont think). I cant ever see anything but a huge dark blob that near to hatching.
BL4--I wanted to ask how you see into the call eggs to see if they have internally pipped? WHat does it look like? (have a link?)
OK I better go out and shut off the water...I am sure the waterbirds have made a sufficient mess by now! They love it soooo much! I hope everyone is getting something accomplished today! Oh yeah--if anyone is watching the dog show tonight, my BFF's daughter is in the finals for Juniors showing a Field Spaniel. Her name is Grace Kofron...see if you can catch her! She is a very good showman! (woman?) Terri O
