Good Fish Fry Friday All.... Nice snow picks. I love snow when it's at your house and not mine!

I took my one dead chain saw to the repair guy. If it's the coil it's not worth fixing...it has some other issues too. If it can be repaired, then that's one more to use for the chores.

Nothing else new here...have fun shoveling...glad it's not me.

DH says thanks, he did have fun in fact he had so much fun that he did 60 other driveways- took about 9 hours to run the route!!

Plowing is fun. Years ago my xBF worked for a lawn care co and they plowed snow as well. They had contracts in IL and there was a huge storm and then needed more drivers !!!! And boy did my wrists hurt the next day. Didn't help my neuropathies either but it sure was fun !!!
I got a kick out of the woman showing up for work with their high heels and umbrellas in the middle of winter. Wish I had a plow on our truck !!

Ok now I'm jealous !! My BIL just sent me this picture of DH and Addie !!!! He loves kids. I'm sure he is enjoying her more then fishing. If only it wasn't 50+ miles one way !!!

Wow, 60 driveways!! They must have been close to each other and small to have done that many !!!

Plowing is fun. Years ago my xBF worked for a lawn care co and they plowed snow as well. They had contracts in IL and there was a huge storm and then needed more drivers !!!! I plowed all night long !!! Did a lot of comercial parking lots. It was fun seeing how close I could get to the cars !!! Never hit one either !!! LOL My eyes were better then.

They are in groups but not all right close to each other, DH runs the snow blower on our lawn tractor and my brother runs the shovel.

I use to help when we didn't have as many places to do.

Tiki-Ya know that's a good question. I've ordered different breeds in the past and I don't remember Ideal charging extra for the different breeds per se. I know they have a boxing fee but I don't remember how much it is. I can find out. Cackle is has a minimum 5 chick per breed but I'd have to look and see if they charge extra for different breeds.
I have never had Jaerhorns, I know Carol does and likes them. I'm not a fan of any leghorn honestly but the Silver Spangled Hamburgs are quite popular at shows and now I can't remember if you asked about the Silver Spangled Spitzhaubens not the Hamburgs!
Anyway, what are you looking for? Eggs or dual purpose?

So, dh just got back from his Indiana Seminar Tour and he is so excited! He signed his first autograph! He did an article for Back Yard Poultry Magazine and he was asked to sign a copy of the mag! So now I'm living with a bona fide celebrity!!! LOL!!!!!! Hope the fame doesn't got to his head!

Wow is it beautiful outside with all that snow! I have yet to take pics since I spent the morning baking bread. The house smells so wonderful and Im about ready to slice me some warm bread! Yummm..

Hmmm.....guess I shouldn't start drinking before dinner. A slower than molasses computer doesn't help.

I must be nuts. I actually called a woman that works at the country store in Antigo that is a teacher at a local school. Last year I gave her 20 eggs to hatch out in the classroom.
I hadn't heard from her and so I called today !!!!

So she wants another 20 eggs but she wants to hatch them out the week BEFORE Easter !!! Now if I seperate them on Sunday they MIGHT be pure !!!!

I might have to get some pur Australorps from the neighbor !!! Think I will pair up the Blue Splash Marans, Some Lavender/Black Ameraucanas, Domoniques AND some Lavender Orps !!!!

Because I will be getting the chicks back !!!
