Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Rocks grow slow. From the stripes I can't tell much. The one on top seems to be more white than dark so I would think boy. And the one on the bottom chest area is darker so I would think girl.

But,,,,,

Where did you get them from?
I think you may have to wait till they grow out their hackles and sickles. Do they have any sickle feathers by their tails?

OK BBP

Tiki -These are new pics of the babies I got out of crossing the silkie mix I got from you with bantam cochins. Could they be any cuter?! The white ones has lots of foot feathers, puffy cheeks and 5 toes.

- BlackBrookPoultry they are just adorable!!!. I especially love the white one!!! Just too cute!!!!!!!

I had to step away from the computer for a second and it took longer than I thought.

chickenscratch from the stripes I would say the barred rocks look like boys. Because they have more white in them than black. I think it may be 2-3 months old when they get their pointy feathers if they are males and their blunt feathers if they are females. Usually you can sex them at day one. The males have a big white spot on the head, the females have a small white spot.

If those are true sex links they are females, if they are sex links bred to something else idk. The hatchery says that they don't breed true after one generation so not sure. I saw a rooster RSL and he was very pretty. Kind of looked like a Delaware with some orange specks in his body and sickles.
