good morning,, I still have 5 more pages to read, so I figured I would comment on each page as I go so I don't forget what I wanted to say..

We just sold our first puppy to an Amish man who has 70 ewes.. He lives only about 10 miles from us so we can go see the pup in a couple of months to see how it is working out for him..

I also have two ladies (mother and married daughter) coming tonight to look at the pups.. I am pretty sure of selling at least one, hopefully two..

and I haven't even advertised the pups yet..

I still have to get to the garden and uncover the plants.. It didn't freeze here last night either, but better safe than sorry..

that salmonella story was in our paper , too.. just enough truths to make people nervous.. why don't they mention about the processed chicken in the stores ? More people get salmonella from handling raw chicken than from baby chicks.. Then they wonder why reader subscriptions are dropping and papers are shutting down..

Good Morning All! I'm tired of talking politics, DNR, bating/not baiting lets move on to religion.

Vic so sorry what happened to your puppy. Glad she recovered I took the classs for certified testers and we covered that too.In 2010 here was only a few positives and upon further investigation they were all false positives. Must be something from outside of Wisconsin then. .

I once did a remodel job for a lady who wallpapered her bathroom with some very "busy" paper..when she told me she was going to also do the ceiling with the same paper , I thought she was nuts.. (she was , as it turned out) but the bathroom turned out really nice..

hey BigZ, whether or not FT looks at the keys or not.. all is the same as long as she is nipping and typing..

Shes out of a bantam cochin hen and that silkie mix roo you gave me. Isn't she adorable? She's the prettiest creamy white color too.

She is!!!!! I have some white/not quite white Ameraucana chicks I need to take pictures of!!! I don'tthink they are as *cheeky* as she is though!.

I don't mind other topics, just as long as they don't divide the friendships we have here.. I too have my opinion about the Walker situation, but I will not argue, politics or religion.. they are subjects that no two opposing views will never change.. Of course it is not beneath my dignity to get an argument started and then leave..

I did something yesterday that I have not done for 40 years.. Gee, how time flies.. I rode a horse.
Annie asked me if I was going to do it again.. I told her, it depends on how I feel tomorrow..
I stretched muscles I forgot I had.. especially my hips.. I don't remember horses being that wide..

I should dump all of these birds and get a horse.. I always wanted one, but could never justify it.
After feeding all these birds, I think a horse would be less expensive.. or at least cost no more..

I am going to make a couple of wooden covers for my feeders.. those dumb chicks just can't seem to stay out of them and not being able to get out..

I ache all over from all the work I did yesterday. But I have tons more to do today. Like finishing the garden. Wish I felt like it. I didn't cover any plants and everything seems to be ok. The bunny rabbits are camping just outside my fence. Maybe they are waiting for a hole to magically appear. LOL I got pretty close to one or two, possibly 5 feet before they took off. Scared me more than the bunny. They are certainly getting tame. There must be lots of food for the coyotes as they haven't been bothering us. I suspect the little chick I lost last week was taken by a small hawk. I need more juicy fruit for the moles and still havent made any traps for rats yet. Will certainly let yas know if I catch any rats..

So far one chick hatched out of 48 and that was Yesterday. They are due today. I peeked in last night and candled a few since I had lost power and they are still kicking.Wonder if I should up the humidity. It's at 58-59%???
