Morning all!
Sorry I've been absent! Honestly I found a good book on Amazon and then I found another....and another! I binge read about 5 books! LOL!
Too many pages to catch up on too!

Everyone is good. Not much to report other then I had a check up and the doctor checked to see if I have Celiac (Sp?) and the test came back negative. So the next step is to go to an allergist to find out if I am in deed allergic to cheese.

Mowed the lawn on Wednesday before the rain. Today I'm planning in cleaning out the coop/barn and making the area for the rabbits to live for the winter. I decided to use straw for bedding. Then I can also move the meat chicks out of the house. They are getting big....and they stink! Elvis is not happy since he his molting. He looks a mess...

Well, I just wanted to check in!! I have to get myself going. Need to clean the rabbits too....

Well all Critters are all fed and sassy, still having trouble with my Bear and runny stools, wondering if it isn't cocci, will drop off a sample for the vet on our way up to Jim's. Will be leaving a tad late again Jim, Cuz Adam has to stop and get me some chicky feed at F&F on his way and pick up the boys GF for the weekend on his way home, but we will be outa here asap, bringing the puppies, so hope, this trip isn't as traumatic for them, as the last ride home. Poor Bear he got rice cooked in chicken broth for breakfast, instead of his food, but at least he ate it, so the pepto must be helping.
Nothing else new here today, except the usual a day late and a dollar short............never seems to let up, I'm afraid this curse has still not left me......DO WE HAVE ANY WITCH DOCTORS, OR VOODOO PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD? I SURE COULD USE A UN-CURSE CURSE LOL
Well off I go to clean my chien pens/coop, and horse stall so they have a clean place for the weekend. Later all.....

Opps Jim just need some Jimmy dean pork sausage or Tennessee pride, they are the best two, others I have tried are just too fatty with little flavor, milk, seasonings, and biscuit making things like flour, salt ect. which I know Annie has, but wasn't sure about the sausage, if you all have a favorite that you buy all the time that is probably fine as well, you guys have good taste in food.......Its really simple and so yummy...... we eat it quite a bit sometimes it's even supper served up with a couple eggs............

Kim, Annie left for town already.. going to pick up sausage,, IDK what kind.. we can always add sage or chicken seasoning to "BAM" it up..

the loose stools are from the canned dog food.. nothing to worry about..

Such pretty roos Cind! I can't let Chloe know. She wants a roo so much. Because she knows Roos will beget chicks! She retains EVERYTHING. I'm on the cusp of not being able to get away with anything anymore.

Good early evening! Talked to MXM today about Shandy...she will live a bit longer....hopefully can get her legs back under her with some modifications!
Jim, Annie, Kim and Adam--I envy you your nice weekend of visiting! Nothing like friends over for a weekend...I wish my DH was more like-minded....I am sure that old Oliver will be running this weekend or shortly after! Good luck. Congrats Adam on the new license-drive safe now! I hope the puppies dont think you guys are returning them! When I read that you were bringing them along I thought of that...wouldnt it be cool if we could actually TELL them what was going on? Like when you have to leave them at the vet's or are just taking them along somewhere; just so they would KNOW...or maybe they dont have that capacity at all? I guess I would just like to be able to know what they actually think or if they do...

So the little quail will be going outside this weekend...the big quail going into the freezer next week. (I hope) I have 5 chicken hens with babies right now and a duck I saw on the pond with ELEVEN babies on Tuesday that she brought home this morning...anybody need Muskovy ducklings? I think I need to refresh my ad on CL for sure!

Going to a wedding tomorrow...dont want to waste the day for sure...might just go to the reception...depending on how much I get done. My riding friend is going to Donald park near Madison to ride...of course tomorrow! I told her to make it Sunday...I guess it is OK for barefoot horses and I would like to take Commander out and see how his foot is. Maybe we will ride it again on Tuesday if it meets my friends' approval and isnt too boring. Carol--maybe you want to meet us there? My friend is anxious to meet some of my "chicken friends." She drove up to the library today as I was talking to MXM and she asked who I was talking to that I could tell that she drove up. "oh, just a chicken friend." LOL!

OK gotta head off and feed dogs. SOme are barking outside like they might die if they dont eat in less than 5 minutes!

I am making some fresh pork liver with bacon in a tomato based sause over mashed potatoes for supper...I have been deserted by my fam for tonight and My GF gave me some liver from her pigs they butchered today. MMMM--I cant wait!

Twizz-got the phone on-Actually I'm gonna go stick on the charger!! Your donkey's are adorable! I love those long ears! At least you got the kittens back instead of who knows where they would have gone.

Marg-Horses and donkeys technically have hair. But fur is used too in some cases. Like when they get really hairy in winter they look like the are very furry....

Well, I've been "addressed" by Big Fam so I must go to her Bash site....lol!!! That Girl cracks me up!!

long day, relocated a huge coon(bread againTO) to the great beyond, did some canning early, cleaned 2 coops, ran for feed, cut some cornstalks I have some sold and need some out by the sign for sale, butchered and sold 3 rabbits. (Realized I really need to work on developing the rabbit market again, much easier and more $ than chickens.)

Hello everyone! Everything is so much more peaceful now in the chicken coop, and I am so relieved that I decided to get rid of Ricky. Our Amacaunas are a little happier too now that I have their pen reinforced so no one can break in. They haven't laid any eggs in 2weeks now though

We would like to get another rooster, and my cousin offered to trade his Bantam Orpington for 2 dozen eggs. His daughter showed it at the fair, and now they want to get rid of it. Does anyone know if he would mesh well with my large birds, or would he get picked on for being to small?

Fish Fry Friday To All...just finished putting the cooker away..It was deep fried swai with new potato fries that turned out really good. Suzie made some potato puffs too..she likes those cause their light and less filling...I like filling up with food and liquids with a mission...LOL!

I'll keep your offer in mind about the saw bl4....I'll give er another try and see if the chain freezes to the bar once it's warmed up again, like the last time i used it. I have a lot of cutting to do in the near future.

Thanks for the heads up on the husky balance issue Doc...seems to me that a small engine repair guy told me that all the replacement parts for the stihls are specialty parts..can't just use a piece of hose here or there. Gotta be stihl parts with their little clips etc...? I know alot of folks that make their living inthe woods...they tote stihls for a reason...I guess. Might look into their small ones just for knowin what's out there option wise.
