Judge, in the last couple weeks I've found 2 nests in the tall grass. Sneaky little boogers. Had to toss one batch. Locking them up for a while might help. Sometimes if I have a few minutes I watch to see where they go when I let them out in the morning - more than once I've been led right to their hidey spots.

Going to force myself to go out during Cartman's nap and at least get the garlic planted for next spring. Garden needs tilling too, not today I think. Said child was up every other hour last night with his stuffy nose. Poor us.

Fish Fry Friday Again.... I'm trying to overcome black tuesday..time wil tell how long we can give to the unneedy...kindalikearobininthenestlookinforafreeworm... heaven forbid work versus freebies.

Yep, right on with 1,000 rounds per caliber for backup....kinda like a big club otherwise...or better yet, how about a car or tractor without any gas.....kinda useless..... eh! Park the big green one without ammunition to run it. bet you have extra fuel ?

been busy here with the biggest fund raiser for camp. We served 388 folks for our broasted chicken dinner. glad i didn't have to butcher all those birds. it was a good effort for the working folks there.
No freebies, just hard work. I suppose i could fill out a form and get some free money ? Maybe you in the know could help us out ?

I am with you all the way BigZ...... some day I wonder.... why have I even bothered to keep paying for my house and my vehicles and my bills? It is so frustrating.... where is MY bailout!

Pizza night here, Papa Murphy's..... made some ham and potato soup with the leftover ham from Tuesday. My DH and the kiddos will have lunch or dinner for tomorrow all ready for them.

Nothing else going on here. Trying to plan on rallying the troops for the next 'Chicken Meeting'.....

Anyway not much news here must the same for everyone else, was surprised with so few posts when I finally got back here.
SnowFlake is doing well.... everything seems to be working again.. I think I will change her name to Miracle...
Anyway Jim we are hoping to load up and be on our way by 7am, putting us at your place around 830 900...... that's if we can catch and corral these boys with little trouble...several are penned up but still not easy to catch in 10x12 stall. the 4 are in a lomh a frame but they can get into the back and kennel and be hard to reach in and grab, if we ain't there by 10 call out the national guard...... the roosters kicked are arses.........hehehe So nayway night all sweet dreams..... see ya tomorrow late probably......... Hi All! ..... Wow.... where was everyone?

Bl4.... We had Papa Murphy's too!

Well, DH called me about 2:30 and asked if I wanted an 8x10 chicken coop.

Well YEAH!!! Turns out one of the guys he works with got/built a coop this spring and went to TSC and got some chicks. Well, his GF is tired of feeding, watering and cleaning and he doesn't have the time so ....they are GIVING the whole works to us! I guess all that's left of the chickens is 3 hens and 4.... ROOSTERS

But, they don't care what happens to the roosters, so.... more for freezer camp! I'll see what they are first before I condemn them. Anyway, soon as we get a building permit (need one for anything 8x10 or over) and we decide where to put it, he will DELIVER it and help set it up!

This solves a big hunk of my space issues!
Now I have to sweet talk 2nd son into hooking up some power for it.
