Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

TO - I used the Vetericyn spray on my girls bumblefoot. Once I had it opened up and cleaned out I sprayed that in there, covered with a piece of gauze then vet wrapped it up. Worked well for me.

I was just about to say this that stuff is a god send...... and my MRSA outbreak would not have happened if I had had some in the house, at the time.......... arggggggghhh great idea Casie......... great minds must think alike.......Kim

Special Thanks to all the Veterans. You all deserve this special day of Thanks!

Welcome snooze rooster....alot of good help here when you need it.

Good luck with the hay hunt frenchie. I'll ask around and see if I can find some fair priced stuff.

Hope the back improves for you Doc...I would only think of surgery as a last resort. I have a PHD in back issues...mine has been great the last 5 years. We splitt the chicken dinner profit 3 ways...church council, the youth, and the camp. Have to wait for the remaining bills to come in fore we can figure the profit.

Had to move all the buttercup squash from the pole shed down to the attached garage...fricken mice were samplin some and likin it alot.

Tomski, you goin huntin on the 15th opener? Good yooper luck if you are!

Kim, how is that MRSA healing?

Its gone basically, the sores left over take 4 ever to heal up though they look purple and scaly for a month or more................. The hardest thing about this crap is getting the sore to drain, once ya get that its all over.... Ty for asking though....... Vetracyn works wonders on it and does definitely kill staph, natural stuff that helps is homeopathic for staph, garlic, upping or adding the C and A vitamins, and echinea also helps boost the immune system......Kim

good PM, not much on the tube tonight.. watching a football game.. It is half time.. I put gramma to bed,, she didn't want to go..

I sold my biggest bourbon red turkey tom,, and this morning the littler one was dead in the coop..WTH? I now have two R Bour hens and no Tom..

Jordan called me tonight is looking for a turkey to butcher for TG day.. anybody want to get rid of a turkey ? he has a RP Tom, but somehow it turned into a pet.. imagine that,, Jordan is 14 years old,.. maybe I should let him butcher the two left over RB hens..

Awww Kim, you made me blush.. It was all true, but I still blushed..

BigZ, shame on you for not letting us know ahead of time you were doing a chicken dinner to support the camp..... I could have let FM know and we would have headed up there. You are only 30 min away from us.......

I do not know how anyone does IT support. I finally got the computer up and running but there is an issue updating the operating platform (Windows XP) so I have to manually update everything, and since this was a new computer in 2005, there are a LOT of updates that need to get on there..... I did manage to get the service pack 2 and three on there and I have IE8 working and I managed to get Mircosoft Security on there. At one point I contacted Microsoft to see if they could give me a hand with the automatic update issue..... I TOLD the guy I had completely re-formatted the drive and set the computer to factory settings..... so he them proceeds to tell me I have a virus..... DUH not possible since I wiped the drive.... ugh. Then he told me I needed to pay for him to fix my computer. Thanks but no thanks buster. I managed to do the best I could, so we have a functional desktop hooked up to a printer and the kids can update their Ipods. I cannot believe I started this mess at 9 AM......

I was thankful when dinner time rolled around so I could get some wine and not feel guilty drinking it....

DH has been ripping his tractor down to bare bones. He has pulled off all the tires from the rims and taken the rest of the body down to the frame. He plans on painting it and the putting it all back together. I bet he could fix your Ollie Jim, but unfortunately we only have room for ONE tractor in the garage.

Ghost, who is your DH working for now? Is it HOW?

TO, what recipe are you looking for? Perhaps I could help you out....

my hubby is working on insulating the big coop right now.

I'm tired of how stupid my silkies are. Who is it on here that has to throw chickens in the coop? I have had to throw the dang silkies in every night since they moved into an outside coop!!! It is SO old. Stupid things just sit in the rain unless i go throw them in. Honestly... anyone insterested in my dumb silkies???

My possible poodle pup was born. Or the litter was. Momma poodle just had 11 pups last night!

that's it for now
It was me. I know soooo annoying. Dumb birds, and I made it so nice for them. So jealous that you are getting a poodle. I want one but the DH says no way. We have a St. bernard/Great Dane mix right now though so I suppose that is enough for now...I would love to see pics once you get him

Well I'll say this much, the first person who tries to call me Snooster....shouldn't have any problems that I can foresee and should be successful unless they have trouble with combining words. Thanks, all. Just went and saw Wreck'em Ralph with the kids, great flick for them and us and yes, the dang roosters are still alive. But I got all the implements and such in order just b4 the DW ( I really hope that means 'devoted wife', more ways than one I guess) said we were going to the early showing....thought it was going to be cheesy with one liners throughout after the first 15 minutes, but actually had a good lil cartoon plot and humor and romance and all. Good times.
Welcome! Funny about the Devoted Wife. My DH was snooping one night and when I saw him in the barn the next morning he asked me what DH meant. I said-"Dear Husband". He goes ya right it means Dumb Husband doesn't it?!

Hope you enjoy it here, I know I do

Hey Heather, if you are serious about rehoming your silkies sometime in the future, my sis would be interested. She just loves them.

Congrats on the poodle pup birth!
