Good Morning everone, Happy Black Friday, I don't know about you all, but I still feel way to stuffed. Not the best of years so far, but still I have so much to be thankful for, We often forget the good and focus on the bad. It certainly got cold, and there are mini snowflakes blowing around in Wausau. I get to trim one of the Dogs today. I am so glad I am off. Going to run to Ace Hardware to use a 20% off coupon and then to school to feed my fish and do some catch up work. Got another egg yesterday Have a good day. David

Good Windier than H Morning All! Getting those small white things blowing around here too. Just made me think of the albino brain chiggers from 3rd Rock.

Had a great Tday my step brother came up from chi town so all the kids were there. Didn't get home until 5 and didn't take the flashlight to close up hope they are all in there this morning! mazo sounds like you've had a great deer and trapping season so far. FT you can go on Wi. Circut Court site and look up what she's charged with if you know her name. Don't think you'll be doing any planting today. Trees are whippin pretty good not looking forward to going out there! Carol would hate to be a chair at your house!

Hope things stop trying to aggrivate you soon! That's the problem with beaters they always need something. MLH good to hear from you! Have to like the wide white wall too! But have to ask both sides? Nice rack!

Cindy giving the porta puss a cursory cleaning today. Will be giving you a call Sunday morning at 8:40 to get directions. Found a couple of fleas on Taz again!

Gave her another dose. Dad said that she's probably getting them from the wood that I bring in because the chickens hang out in there. IDK. Going to close off the back porch with a house window screen. WOW just got L's car out and took care of the kids. NAS T

Morning all!

I'm glad to hear everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a nice dinner. I crocked potted a turkey breast, made instant smashed potatoes, made a green bean casserole (yum!) and some tubed crescent rolls. I made a canned pumpkin pie but it's did not turn out well. Sometimes my oven cooks oddly. It's new so I should call Sears out and have them check it. I miss my old oven so bad....

So, I still have yet to figure out who the crower is. I *think* it's a Barred Rock or maybe the SLW with the bum leg. The SLW that needs to be processed. He/She? dislocated his/her hip. So DH will do him/her in before the dump run tomorrow.

On a sadder note, I lost my Mini Rex bunny. Woke up the other morning and he was gone. Poor dear. I buried him under the Lilac tree.

Everyone else is doing just great! I've been getting about 6-8 eggs a day. The two Ameruacana's, SG and the Orloffs have taken the winter off already. I have a feeling the Orloffs will be done after this spring. They will be 3 in April and their lay life is almost gone.


What else, that is about it for the happenings hear. DH wants to brave the crowds today. Me not so much. So I might just let him have at it on his own...Give him my shopping list and let him have at it...

I went out and opened up the coop this morning, Crockpot took one look at the snow, grab a couple bites, and ran right back into the coop!

Nobody else even came out, poor chookies, they had such a great time being out in the garden all day yesterday. Just went out and took them some warm mash and when I went into the coop they were all yelling at me like I could actually DO anything about the weather!

Got all my Black Friday shopping done and never got out of my jammies. Behave girls, I did it all online yesterday pm and a little more today. I have done mine that way for years and years. Walmart has special sales that are regional. Used to you could get on and check out a sale say in Chicago, order it online and get it sent to wherever you want. They figured out some of us had figured that out so you can't do that anymore but they were running online only specials all day yesterday and I picked up some pretty good deals and on the Amazon flash deals too of course.

Everythng is snugged down for the snow that's still falling and the wind is horrible so I get a day to go play. Hubby and I are off to Carter

House full today and my DD13 wanted to make her special breakfast (Muffin tins filled with half egg, sausage patty, hashbrown and cheese). Didnnt have enough eggs from all the thanksgiving baking-so out checking the coop every few mins for a couple more eggs-funny stuff and family has enough fodder to tease me for awhile to come!

Good morning...hope all had a good thanksgiving, we did good, lots of family and craziness and dh and I ran to Walmart later last night for his dads Xmas gift. Kids are off to a bday party today.
My pretty little EE that lays blue eggs that was hatched April one, has decided to go broody. Need to try to break that brood. Want my blue eggs back. No rooster is even in there with them so can't even let her hatch them. Need to hunt up,a sweet silkie roo.
Anyway...need to find an electric toothbrush online for an Xmas present..off to hunt up the deals!

Hey Kristip, there was a silkieXcochinXorpington roo on craigslist yesterday, maybe free. I think I put 'chicken' in search under city of minneapolis, but mighta been eau claire. Nice looking bird, looked like a bowling ball with a comb, feathered out to the feet. Happy first day of out diet til Christmas everyone, I hear thanksgiving leftovers don't have any calories....
