Woman banned for life from Walmart Stores in the US

It really cant but...

If she is seen by someone that knows or if she makes scene in another one where the figure out who she is or they may have her name in there system that will catch her if she uses a card. If one of these thing happen she can be arrested for trespassing.

Walmart is private an they have the right to film in there as long as its posted but that does not give you the right to film them in there private property. Its not a two way street.

Squishy, you obviously missed ALL the signs. Premises monitored by Video. Its a little sticker on the doors as you walk in. By the way, Wal-Mart is not on public property.. its on private property. Folks who actually pay attention and know the laws, know that you walk past that sign and into the store, you are giving your consent to be monitored and recorded. And at least one party knows you are being recorded.. The private property owner; the store. That also gives them the right to ban somebody. And in the video/audo, I definitely heard the manager tell her there was no recordings allowed on the property. She continued to record and if somebody shoved a camera in my face I'm sure I'd slap it away too..

I get what you are saying, but its apples and oranges.

Too many loop holes. If she paid for the items before she left, why would the WM cop go after her saying she committed a crime???? Something is fishy there!

Wal Mart don't card their customers, they just greet them but once you are inside, if some camera picked up someone that is BAD business for WalMart and on the ban list, yes I can see them escorting her out of the store.

My husband's mother is a chronic shoplifter, making all kinds of excuses, the one WM store banned her from that store. However she continued to do her dirty deeds and stores threatened to take her to jail but with her smooth and fast talking with some crying, she seems to get away with it every time. Suckers! Eventually the staff will get a heads up if and when they see her again and some would follow her which makes her mad.

Let me translate. The video shows her putting the camera in the store managers face an videoing the cash register an credit card machine. The audio you can hear him say that she cant video in there. He pushes the camera down when she was videoing the credit card machine which is a crime by its self. Heres where it get tricky. They did not follow her they just banned her from the store. She comes back later an then they confront her about trespassing. She said she didn't know she was banned from all walmarts for life. The way she said it makes me assume she knew she was banned from that one already so I believe they told her she was banned at the end of the main fight. She just didn't think they would enforce it.

Oh, I didn't see the part where she was videoing the cash register and credit card machine, that's a big no no! Plus, in any case, if someone tells you to stop recording, you stop recording and that's it.

I seriously don't think they can ban her for life from all Wal Marts, that's silly. But, if I were her, I wouldn't go there anymore, anyway.

I think it's illegal if both parties are not aware of them being recorded, and the manager may have not been aware that she was recording the discussion. I still do not think he had a right to slap it out of her hand. If someone done that to me, they would be picking themself up off the floor.
