Well, any of ya'll North Carolinians that happen to make it to Fayetteville Motor Speedway between now and October...better stop in the pits of the 98 Open Wheel Mod. crew and speak to us..we can put pictures on the forum and say..."Fellow racers and race fans FLOCK together!!" lol!! or maybe "Seen Roosting together at Fayetteville Motor Speedway were..."...or even "These folks aren't chicken, they were flyin around the track at..."..lol!! Well, I better get to work so I can pay for track admission!! Have a great day ya'll!!

Best of luck to travis and your family! When we lived by the beach we went to the dirt track often.(Ventura CA raceway) Since the move to the mts. we haven't made the treck to the dirt track in Bakersfield. We will this year though. Unfortunately, living inthe no fun state, our DGD is not old enough to get into even go karts!! Here you have to be 16 to race them! She has wanted to race cars/ monster trucks since she was three! We are getting her a dirt bike though in a week or so. Wish we lived closer, we definitley would be there!!

Thank you!! I bet they cancel the season opener as we are expecting serious rain tonight through tomorrow, but you never know, if it dries out even some they may try to squeeze the race in before the downpours start. We still have some cam shaft issues after practice last week so it wouldnt hurt our feelings to push it back a week, lol!!
ipboo, you can check the resutls on the fayetteville site, they are pretty good about posting them before the weekend is over. Thanks for your interest, sure makes for a busy lifestyle around here..and a good excuse to let the housework go some....well, alot, lol!!!

Thank you!!! Stupid but I found a penny in the dirt before the race and had a feeling it was lucky, dumb I know, but had it in pocket the whole race...maybe it ws lucky!! Hope I find another one next week, lol!!
