Wooden door ...how to secure it

Sadly, I don’t have any bright ideas. I have a pop door with a rope and pulley, but I often need to open up the coop and force it down when it’s very humid. We have sanded it down and applied wax, but still I’m opening up the coop with birds who are ready to sleep and mucking around with the pop door. :idunno

Yeah, my set up isn't ideal, either. I don't even have a pop door. I have 2 coops. I let the big girls out of the walk-in coop through the people door every morning, and I open the front door of the mini coop for the bantams. Both shut with hasps and tumbler locks. I do have a piece I'd wood that I run across the mini coop doors through cabinet handles, kind of like what we first suggested. To open and close everything, I have to go into the run, too, but is less of a hassle because mine is a walk-in run.
