It's not easy trying to count little peeps hopping around the bator. I think I see 11 and a couple more pips. Keeping my fingers crossed that those make it.

One looks kind of sticky at the pip, so I'm thinking my humidity wasn't right or something. Gonna have to recheck these gauges, as I don't want to mess up my next hatches.

Congrats! And what are you doing hatching this time of year anyway, young lady?

Winter is the only time I get to hatch for ME. LOL Plus, I got a couple small buff orp orders for local pickup, so figured it would be fun and I wanted to test run the equipment for my project hatches anyways and then I get to keep those peeps. Plus I'll have fresh layers and a step ahead on my projects by spring.

Ok, against my better judgment I decided to pull the chicks out. Checked the eggs that are left and the one sticky one appears to have perished. There are 2 more pips and one of them is now working its way around the eggs. Here are the chicks so far.
