Work dilema

In that case, Maple, it is always wonderful to see you post.

You're like a sunny slightly breezy day at the beach at 4 o'clock when most of the swimmer have gone back to their hotels and all that linger are the fishermen and the trick kite flyers. Perfect for zoning on the waves, reading a book, or taking a nap.

Boss calls me into his office and says "You know we talked about this on Monday, your attention to detail and what I have to say to you speaks to that. Trini called me and said his Board packet when to City Hall instead of his house like it always does. How could you let this happen??"

I am sitting there dumbfounded. I told him "I have never changed the Board packet labels since the day I started here." He says "show me" andfollows me to my office. I pull up the labels, see it says his name, the city, and then the address. He asks Nancie to read off Trini's home address. Lo and behold it's the same freakin address I have on my labels!!!!!

The post office saw City of Adelanto, saw a council members name and TOTALLY ignored the address and delivered it to City Hall!! The danged package HAD the right address on it.

WHY ME?????

yeah. definitely the PO problem.

they shouldn't be angry at you about the mail being sent to the wrong address, when the right address is clearly printed on the envelope.

i've been trying to keep myself off the internet when it is not work related, but i have to use it on occasions to figure out mileage for billing transportation for Medicaid. our system freezes up and while i'm waiting for things to load i will check the news and newspaper online. usually there is stuff related to work anyways... lately.

good luck at work with keep yourself focused!

then he's a baffoon and it's still not your fault....

be rubber... I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

not your fault debi...

I KNOW it isn't. And so does he, but I am on his radar and every mistake he comes to me for and I wind up explaining things over and over. And the guy is actually a VERY good guy.
