Well, my second bunch of eggs is now officially in lockdown. I left 12 in the incubator, but I am pretty positive 2 or 3 of those are quitters...not 100% sure, so I thought I'd go ahead and let them stay. A more realistic number of "good" ones is 9, to be conservative.. But 9 is not bad, I suppose. Just crossing fingers these guys make it.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Sounds like you've got some really cool birds! Just curious, would you be willing to send them out this fall, I have more eggs coming after world hatch day so they wouldn't be alone. I would love to have them in the spring just as much, but since my incubator will still be running, I thought I'd mention it. Thanks again!

Am I correct in thinking if I set my eggs on Friday morning, September 21st that today is lockdown? Or is it tomorrow?

If you set your eggs in the morning of September 21, you would go into lockdown this morning! Yay! Today would be day 18 for you.

I don't go into lockdown until Thurday morning.
