I agree with @EggSighted4Life and @BirdsBeesTrees, they are maggots. Do your best to keep their brooder dry and they shouldn't be a problem. Me, I clean the brooder at least once a day and that seems to help a lot!

Chickens eat it, flies stay out of the feed. When the chickens poop it out the flies avoid the poop. It's not 100% but anything to irritate the flies that love to irritate us!
