You have every reason to be stressed out by this.

At some point you'll just accept it and move on. Like others have said people have to make their own mistakes to learn.

I have a 16 year old niece that gets really crazy ideas in her head sometimes. Her mother bailed a long time ago so I am "mom". I ask her really pointed questions to make her realize how stupid the idea is. Here are some you can use.

1. Do you have a job?
2. Where do you intend to live?
3. Do you have a job?
4. Are you educated enough to hope to have a good job in the near future?
5. Do you have a job?
6. Do you really think we are going to let you live here rent free?
7. Do you have a job?

Honestly, I am sorry you are going thru this but it really is foolish. Someone needs to PARENT this CHILD. Anyone that make stupid decisions like that does not have a very bright future.

Three issues I see:

1-Dumb kids wanna get married - Good for them and best of luck. Morons.

2-They want to live in YOUR house - Nope, total BS, shouldn't happen.

3-You DH needs a beating for allowing this, especially with you against it. That's plain wrong and you can tell him another GUY said so. Add some flavorful words too.
