After going to shows, and finally getting the breeding pens going, I've finally been able to start hatching! I wish I were done by now

so maybe I envy you a bit?

Ok, 32 ducklings, 9 goslings (both not for me), 8 Serama in 2 hatches, 8 Brahmas in different hatches and numerous chicks for other people. I have hatched in total over two hundred in the last 2 years. I run a hatchign service, and as long as I don't get any more requests this year, I'm done. I have broodies coming out of my ears and hardly any eggs coming in. From 4 adult birds (three brahmas and a welsumer bantam hen), and two adult Serama I am getting one Serama egg every three days. Not exactly incubator filling or breakfast for that matter. Am longing to have my evenings back instead of candling endless incubators with eggs in. I have two (well, three) and one holds 40 chicken eggs and one holds 24 and I try to fill them each time except for with Serama eggs - I could never get enough to even fill the little one without shipping in eggs too.
