It is a "summer" hot day in PA today, 85 and very humid. Pretty much every actively laying hen I have is walking around in the "stance", even the hens who laid an egg last night. Is this normal in really hot weather, or am I looking at something weird here. And when I say the "stance" I mean seriously, not just a little, the full-on wings to the floor, tail up stance.![]()

Oyster shells work great or at least the ones I've been using for my peafowl.
