Wounded cayuga duckling

So this wound is on her back right? Looks a little more swollen than the other side don't you think, your there what does it look like to you? Eyes look clear that's a good sign.

@casportpony look at the wound area now please.

I am having a hard time visualizing where the wound is. Can you take a picture from a couple of feet away with someone pointing at the wound?

Hope this helps some, I guess it's not her "back" but I consider it the top side, I'm not sure how to describe where. Maybe her hip. Sorry @Miss Lydia and @casportpony thanks for your help

Wow, fabulous picture! So my best guess is that the infection has spread, and because of where the bite is it cannot drain.

Oh boy:sick...it don't feel squishy or swollen to me but I'm not an expert. So what happens if I leave it alone an just continued antibiotic at 3 times a day instead for 12 more days? Or how does this drain hole work, like how do I get it in their

I don't think upping the drugs will help., and I'm not sure what I would do if I were in your shoes. Maybe I would slice at the base of the redness then flush the hell out of it with chlorhexidine and saline?
