Wow! What an exciting day! (Update...not so exciting afterall!)

Well fair is over and it was a great week. I never did end up seeing this guy though.

He must have worn out his phone texting me, but I started thinking twice about the guy after he said he'd be at the fair on sunday night. I had said that I would be at the fair queen competition at around 8 and I could meet him somewhere. He told me he was just leaving, and would be there in about 20 minutes. Well I never heard from him until much later that night (I didn't wait around because I had plenty of other things to do!). He told me he was leaving because he couldn't find me (Hello! Cell phones!). So I said ok and blew it off. He mentioned he would be there Thursday night.

Thursday night came and went and later that night he told me he would be there at ten the next morning. His messages were getting a little odd by this time and I really didn't want to see him at this point. I mentioned that I didn't see him Thursday night and he said he had left me a message and kept going on and on with the excuses. I also questioned him because he said he was going to Maine on Friday, but then he changed his story and said he was leaving monday, not Friday. At this point I had had enough, and I just stopped contact with him. I did see him walking around Friday night, but he just looked at me and didn't say anything so I kept walking. Haven't heard from him since.

Soooo....I still had a wonderful (albeit hot and tiring!) week at the fair. Life goes on, and my belief that I would rather hang out with my dog, horses, and chickens has been reinforced! I think I will just remain single until AFTER school is done, because honestly, if that's how dating is...it's just way too stressful! I have another year for my undergrad degree, then two more or so for my masters.

Just thought I'd update you guys! I will probably start a thread about my fair experience though! I have tons of awesome pictures to share!

Thanks for sharing update on what happened.
He sounds like he indeed has flakiness issues. I'm sorry the experience turned out a bit tiresomely annoying.
I hope you have some other good ones come up soon. (I'm not voting for the after-school limit
