Hard to see in the picture but that is hers

There it is... Yes that's a nice color congrats. ♥️

Do you know what part of her laying cycle she's in?

Marans will lay their true color or darkest eggs at the beginning of their lay cycle, after their molt or when they start laying from being broody. Then they usually get lighter the farther they get into their lay cycle as they lose paint in the sprayer.
So, being that you just recently got her, she may lay a darker egg yet for you after she goes thru her next molt.

Just an added fyi for you in case you didn't know....

The Marans breed and eggs are graded thru the APA (American Poultry Association) and follow the French SOP (Standard Of Perfection). The French Standard calls for feathered legs down the outside of the leg and outer toe only, which from what I can tell your girl does. So she would be considered an FBCM (French Black Copper Marans). Most US breeders drop the F and just call them BCM's because it's a given they must be French Standard.

This is the color chart for their eggs that I and many breeders use to breed towards getting darker eggs.
