Writing a story in a chicken's eyes! UPDATE Pg. 75!

Isn't honey antibacterial? It seals out the moisture really well, it works great on wounds. And the warnings are because it's so sticky that infants can choke on it...that's what the bottles of honey say, as well everything I've heard.

Me too...

Daisy was standing up and she even walked around when we got home!

We thought for sure she'd be dead. Chicklet stopped spitting up water and is also doing better.

I'm going to check on them here soon, too.

Last year when my rhode island red hen was attacked by my dog, she had skin and even muscle ripped off. I was so amazed when she didn't go into shock, and even when she got maggots (I was at school when we found them and Mom had to pick them off) she made it and became our spoiled girl. It's amazing what our chickens can endure!
I hope your girls are on the road to full recovery. It sounds as if they were really sick.

They were VERY sick. Today, Daisy is walking around and eating and drinking. She stands upright in a wird position, though. Chicklet drinks a ton of water and her crop is huge, but she's acting normal again.
