In the Brooder
I know that's my fear. I have 2 different flocks. One that hatches Christmas day from my origional flock I just lost. Due to a raccoons. This batch that has the sick chick I got a few weeks ago as a replacement.

Not to hijack myown thread back, but if that chick has mareks, you should be able to tell by the eye color. Normal is an orange/red ring around a large black pupil, mareks the pupil is small and the eye color is grey.
As for my bird, i ended up getting vitamin e drops oppsed to the vitamin e oil.i was told the oil is not pure e so i switched. I couldn't find polyvisol anywhere, even 2 local drugstores. So she is being helped drink her electrolyte water/acv and with a syringe. Yesterday I made her scrambled eggs with feed softened with electrolyt water, she ate some , only only a little today. Her crop is just a little full for the first time today. I know it took time to get this bad, but how long is unrealistically too long to be treating before any sign of improvement?
