How is it going with everyone?
The McCormicks are plaining to be there for the swap.
Tammy, Jonathon sould be here this Friday. Something came up and he could not make it last Friday.
I will let you knowwhat he has to say when I talk to him Friday.

Hello, everyone I talked to Will at TS and everything is set up for April and sept we have also been asked if we would like to have on there in June or July . I told him I would get back to him on that. So if everyone can think it over and a date can get set that would be great. Thanks!

What IS Chickenstock? It sounds interesting and I don't even know what it is!

It is were local breeders get together and swap/ sell their chickens and anything farm related. Everyone one is welcome to come out buy/ sell / trade, or just talk chicken and look at all the different breeds of chickens. On first page or so should be a link to the web site that has pictures of last years swaps and gives more info. on it too. If your from around here you should come on out and meet your fellow BYC members . We love to have you come out. Bring your family and friends on out too .

Just incase anyone wants to know there will be a swap at TS in Winchester Va too. We are looking for May 14 or 21. I will let y'all know when I know the date for sure.
Also any Wv NPIP person can take chickens to sell under 3 months with just the report of sales of hatching eggs,chicks and poults form. To sell any over 3 months must have AI test 10 day before swap/sell in Va.

Tammy ~ as far as testing for the shows we can not. He has to be the one to test per state vet.
He can teach us and we can help test at swaps, fairs.
Only other way would be to take the state course to test for the state ,but still can not test your self.


We will have a tester at the swap in April and he will be back out to test us in this area in April too.

actually I am in Mount Airy Maryland so am within a reasonable distance from both. am already priming hubby it would be a nice day out together!
