Don't come tomorrow!!! It's next Saturday.. the 25th.

I'll have welsummer chicks and some started mille fleur cochin chicks as well as columbian cochin chicks. My cochins are bantams and are show birds so you may be dissapointed with their egg production ...or lack of it

They are also more expensive.

My welsummers are from my dad's flock. He has big, healthy birds. They lay nice dark speckled eggs. The first eggs of the season could've been mistaken for marans but they've lightened up a bit. I'll be hatching all weekend and next week... should have plenty. They'll be $5 st. run.

I think someone else is bringing ameraucanas but I can't remember... majestic? Im sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction. My friend has a flock of them and I may bring a dozen hatching eggs.

Hope to see you NEXT SATURDAY!!!

Don't I feel dumb! OK, next weekend! You just popped my bubble!

I was so excited! Can you tell! I'm really only interested in chicks for now. Not ready for the whole hatching egg! If anyone has any chicks on my list please let me know! Thanks so much!

Nursecat, it's next Saturday, not tomorrow! You have a good list of birds, there. I only have owned adults of orpingtons and Cochins and they are very sweet, especially the Cochins! I will have a few Cochin and ameraucana chicks, ms bear will have wellsummers, and with luck I think majestic farms will be parting with some brahmas and orpingtons.

I just got back from TSC and posted some flyers on their front door. The store manager said they've been getting many calls asking what is up with ChickenStock!!! I think we need to recruit a few more vendors

I put ads in the Buyers Guide as well as the Valley Trader and added that we have room for more vendors so I hope that helps. I have a feeling we'll be sold out of birds by 11:30

Here is the started cart coop we're building. I still have to restore teh windows but you can see what they're going to look like. The front window will be open but will have shutters and lots of molding around it.

We're building two standard sized nesting boxes on the left (stacked) to easily access eggs. It will have an auto feeder and will be wired for a heat light for those freezing winters I hope to be forgetting about real soon

It will also have 6" overhangs in the front and back and a corrugated galvanized roof.

My son and I are coming from Spotsylvania, Virginia. And we would like to find some Bantam Cochins in Adults and Chicks if anyone could help out or know someone that has some that would be great! Have a pretty good trip to come and don't want to come home empty handed! Looking for Lemon Blues,Mottled,Birchen,Columbian, Buff Columbian,Mille Fleur, And any other colors Thanks Herb

Wow Herb. We will be happy to have you. Msbear has beautiful Columbians.

I just wanted to remind everyone to bring cardboard boxes so our poultry have a safe ride to their new homes. Also, I think pictures of your parent stock would be nice. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the referral, Majestic.

I think all my birds will be sold though before I even get to the show.

Here's an updated pic of the coop. We got another, smaller cart yesterday. We will try to finish a two hen coop by the show.
