Wyoming Unite!!!!

Yes, most definitely everyone have a blessed and peaceful Christmas! Wish it was a white one, but Santa wasn’t listening and it looks more like early October here!

We still have snow on the ground from the past few downfalls and more predicted tomorrow.

If you really, really want a white Christmas B, I could maybe arrange a transport! :lau

Merry

Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you as well Bob! Enjoy :gig

Not too bad here. The sun is coming up and it’s -8 degrees here. We didn’t get hammered with this storm the way you guys south of us did. Happy New Year to you all!

Hope Wind River Canyon has reopened -one of Kendra’s seizure meds had to be ordered last week because it’s not one the pharmacy keeps in stock. Jen ordered it in plenty of time, but even though Kendra needs this medication every month, the pharmacist won’t actually order it until Medicaid will authorize the refill, which he promptly forgot to do....again. This is about the fourth or fifth time he’s dropped the ball. Jenny’s been trying - she gave Kendra half doses of what she had left but Kendra’s been having seizures all weekend. She was completely out of Onfi by Sunday night. Pharmacist promised it would be here Monday - but the storm hit, WyDot closed the road up here, so it didn’t come in. Jenny called around again, but nobody carries it in liquid and Kendra can’t do pills unless they’re chewable, which Onfi isn’t. Then Walmart called her back - they got some in from the pharmacy in Billings for her, so she ran up to Cody and got it. And another drug store in Powell did tell Jen when she called them that they have a regular procedure in place for maintenance meds that aren’t normally carried in stock. They have a calendar that sends alerts and they go ahead and order it automatically 7-10 days before the refill is authorized, which is normally 3 days before the refill date. Plenty of time! Jen is changing pharmacies so this never happens again. She says she hopes the end of 2018 means the ends of prescription flubs!
