Its up to 7°F here but the wind is bitter. I found deer tracks in the snow here this morning. One part of the fence will be easy to fix but the other part involves digging a hole in frozen ground. Fortunately it wasn't bucks so it does not appear that they did any damage to the trees.

This little girl shows up here every few days begging for more bird seed. Her mother was bringing her here pretty often but was killed by a neighbor during hunting season. We've caught her sleeping in the horse hay several times.

Woke up at 5 am and the temp was a bone chilling -23 degrees! I don't know what the winds are doing, but I sure don't want to go out this morning! Doesn't look too windy, but then most of my shrubs are permanently bent toward the south, so it's hard to tell.

We're only -1* this morning but after 3+ hours overnight of zero electricity, this little shack of ours is cold!

You got me beat. It was only -10°F here. The wind is temporarily not blowing and it looks like it is going to be a sunny day.

WHAT??? No power in this? Holy smokes, girlfriend! That's crazy! Is Frankenfoot home or is he up at the new place? Remember those flannel pants I told you to buy? This would be a good time for them! You guys have really been hammered down there this winter.....looks like the Interstates have been closed more than open all season!

Nice and sunny here too, Bob - just flippin' cold! I'll have to chip the neighbor's dog off the car tires before we can go to Billings today!

I keep a portable generator handy so that I can at least plug in the pellet stove and the incubator when the power goes out
