It has been 60°F in the house here all day today. I finally broke down and cleaned the pellet stove and started a fire. The living room is warming up now.

Definitely getting to be that time of year! It's supposed to be pretty chilly here tomorrow. Highs in the mid-40's and over night lows in the 20's.

The wind calmed down enough for me to put up the last panel on the greenhouse roof. Of course mother nature wanted to make sure I know who is boss and started sprinkling on me as I finished up the last 3 rows of screws. Then just as I finished up, I saw the first rays of sunshine that I have seen in 3 days. The roof looks ugly but should not leak. I just put the new roofing panels right on top of the damaged panels.

We had 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground this morning. The trees still have all their leaves so they were all bowed down. No limb breakage that I could see. Snow started melting but but it's now snowing again this afternoon. We haven't seen the sun up here since last Thursday. My body is solar powered so I'm really low on energy...

Sounds like my son and I got our vacation done just in time! We stayed over in Hulett and heard the snow predictions.

It's been spitting rain here off/on all day and tonight is supposed to be down in the 20's.

Guess I never did share any of the photos we took on our trip. (These are a few of my son's pictures, he's a lot better at it than I am.) Devils Tower was very interesting, we'd never been there before. The 3rd picture shows the valley overlook from the trail we walked around the base of the Tower.

What little bit of the garden that was still alive yesterday isn't alive this morning. @N F C shared her overnight lows this morning. Today's low was 23°F at 7:30 AM this morning. Still no snow here and the day is starting out sunny. If I am lucky, It will warm up enough for me to steal honey today.

Sorry about your garden Bob. We're supposed to see 68* today so I'll see if I can share some of that too!
