It is over 40°F here with the wind blowing. The snow is so wet it can't drift. It is perfect for snowballs.

Could be. Most of the migratory birds are already gone. I do have a bunch of house sparrows, house finches, blues jays, northern flickers, tree sparrows and some magpies. This group are usually here all winter. The house finches are free loaders and will move on if there isn't any bird feed for them.

I went out with the gun this morning but this stinker didn't show up until I went back out with the camera to capture the catbird.
