I added 89 guinea eggs and 6 turkey eggs to the incubator last night. There are still the 27 that I added earlier that are due around the 18th. With 5 males and 8 hens, it is hard to predict what the fertility will be.

I had a visitor in the wee hours this morning.

Fortunately it did not bother any of the hens or their hidden nests. She took up temporary residence in the live trap and is now a part of my continuing soil improvement program.

It has been raining a ton with lots of wind, and everything is blowing away! Almost feels like a Tennessee rain. Good thing our chickens have a a wind barrier and a roof for their run.

It didn't last long here. I got like 0.15" of rain in 5 minutes.
