Hello Wyoming people. I just found this thread. We are in Douglas and have a handful of chickens, Dark brahmas and New Hampshires. Nothing fancy. But we look forward to getting more knowledgeable and making connections with other poultry folks.

Welcome to the thread. I just spoke to a fellow from Douglas today. He wants to come up and get some of the free trees, etc. that I give away every spring.

I don't propagate anything. Either the birds plant the seeds or the plants send out runners on their own.

This might be a noob question, but I am new to this. Being in Cheyenne, is it ok to let the chickens (got as chicks Fed 5 and 12) for good, or is it too cold? On the past "hot" day they are out bust we have been bring them in. Just wondering, the smell is getting bad and so is the dust.
