most of the 550 acres are 2 pastures, which i might put a few cows in, but i have about about 20 acres for the chickens. i've been at that house before, and it has a lot of land! its in cold ND!

And you are only getting 28 chickens?????

HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you can have 300 chickens, you had better build a REALLY BIG coop!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL


And of course the 5000 sq ft guest cottage for when we come to visit... Oh heck, we'll just move in... We are really nice, you'll like us!! And we only have 20 chickens so we won't take up too much room. We will settle for the back 20 or so, whatever you can spare. See you soon!!

Make sure you get something cold hardy, like Buff Orpingtons (my personal favorite), or Buckeyes.

Mom and her brother and sister inherited 160 acres in North Dakota that was homesteaded by my great, great grandfather. I'll be coming up that way some time to hunt. I'd buy a chunk of it off of them and build a house there, and do the farm thing if my wife would let me, but she says it's too cold to live there! hehehe
