Yellow Chick - any ideas what it might be?

Hello All

Hoping someone might be able to give me some clues about what the yellow chick here might be.

They will be a week old tomorrow, the wing feathers are starting to appear and are yellow, the legs are feathered.

Dad is definitely a Blue Copper Maran, mum could be RIR, Buff Sussex, Laced Wyandotte, Buff Silkie cross (suspect the egg was too big for her though) - outside chance it could have been Aracana, Olive Egger or Bantam but don't think the egg was right for them.....

any ideas welcome :O)

It looks like single factor dominant white to me, given the blue splodges on its head. Do any of the potential mothers have any white in their plumage?

thank you, the eggs were from my own hens though and i don't have a leghorn........ i DID and she was possible the mother of the Olive Egger....... it that a possible generation skip or doesn't it work like that?

The mother is the hen on the far right of the photo. The dominant white can be seen in her tail, turning the black pigment you see in the other two red hens to white. She looks like a rsl of some sort.

The white in your wyandotte is different, caused by silver.

interesting thanks so much, she is a silkie x RIR, i did't even think she was still laying........ goodness knows what the chicken will grow in to! the chick is certainly a good size, bigger than the Maran chicks

Would you please post new photos at about 6-8 weeks of age, we should be able to tell alot more about the chick.
