You should call him and ask what the other worm was and treat with a womer that targets that worm.One was roundworm; sorry I can't remember the other. He gave me Piperazine. Now I read that it is only good for roundworms. She does seem better already, though.
That's a bad worm... time to get some Safeguard liquid for goats (fenbendazole) from Tractor Supply or Safeguard paste for horses. Dose of either for chickens is 0.23ml per pound orally for five days in a row.The other one was capillaria, I think. I need to call them again tomorrow. I didn't actually talk to the vet, just the assistant. I don't know how much he really knows about chickens, but I will ask him about the other worm.
You can buy Safeguard horse paste without a prescription. Dose would be the same. Or you could buy the liquid off of Ebay:I will need to get over to the big island for that, but I will. Last time I asked about it they wouldn't sell it to me, so I have to say I have goats.
