Yellow runny poop... ?

I now know who it is and I do you see she is acting more lethargic. I weighed her and found she has lost a lot of weight. I made an appointment to see the vet tomorrow.

You need to bring her inside where it's warm, but don't be surprised if she dies between now and when you take her to the vet. If she were mine she would get dusted for mites/lice, tubed fluids and I'd start her on metronidazole, Baytril and maybe Corid, too, but that's just me... I tend to treat these things very aggressively.

Now that I weighed the other hens I'm not sure she lost weight. Her appetite seems healthy. The main symptom, now that I'm watching her, is that she doesn't raise her head. She walks and sits and stands with her head tucked in low so she has no neck. I'm not sure but her crop MIGHT be enlarged. It's so hard to tell because of her molting. Is there any way sour crop could cause the yellow poop?

She could also have sour crop, but that's not her main issue. The head tucked just means they are sick.

One of my chickens ( I have only two ..LOL) has had sour crop, and ended up with pendulous crop. So I know about a chicken who has sour crop little bit.
Most of the time, you will see a lot of tiny green poops.
Also you can smell something bad from her when you get close to her.
In the morning, her crop will be flat is she doesn't have the problem.

Her poops like my other one. She has the same kind of poop sometimes. I think that she has internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis.
You can see my thread that I started if you have enough time.
Even though your chicken does not have an enlarged abdomen, there doesn't mean that she doesn't have it. My chicken has an enlarged abdomen though....

There are so many things to think about.... You will find out what cause her being so ill tomorrow.

Oh... Hope you chicken will have a good result!
