YO GEORGIANS! :)

We have been trying anything that is suggested to save this little Jubilee, my husband was even keeping it in his robe to stay warm and dry off. It will not eat tonight though, or drink, I do not think it will make it through the night. It has been so sweet though watching my husband try to nurse it back to health. I swear he would have snuck it under his uniform today to care for at work if he thought he could get away with it in the military skiff!

Adorable! I hope the baby makes it :(. Those little guys do seem to be pretty fragile though; I've heard poeple have a tough time with them.

Here it is!!

Look at this sweet little girl! She is already cuddly. She likes pecking and moving my hair to cover herself. Oh and does anyone know what she is. I've figured out 11 of the 16. Having trouble with the last 4.

Puffy cheeks, broken lines in the markings, greenish legs... you DEFINITELY have an easter egger on your hand!

Mr dz do That's not warm enough! Hold the chick in your hand against your neck where the artery is on the side. Cold animals don't eat. But could be something out of your control

Two more have pipped externally. A crested cream legbar and a black copper marans. :)

Nice!
I'm hoping I get a pip soon. I have a lonely chick in the brooder inside. But as long as he straightens BOTH of his legs and walks on them properly, he'll be outside tomorrow, too!

Everybody left?
Not by far. Just had to switch to the USPS website to print out the label for tomorrow's outgoing hatching eggs.

16 eggs going to Louisiana for $8.56 (plus the cost of the actual eggs). People are paying WAY TOO MUCH for these flat-rate boxes!
