Thanks, y'all! Dh and I decided that we're going to go with some pullets to start off with, and when we are more experienced, we will try some chicks. We don't really have the set up for chicks right now, either. I'm going to go to the feed/seed store in Jackson today (we're at the lake for the week), and see if they can recommend someone to me. Thanks for all the advice.
