I hear ya Chick! LOL But I don't handle extremes well...
I have a Chicken related question folks lmbo! What do I feed my hen besides Chick starter to put weight on her?

Literally anything she will eat! Corn and bread are good fattening "fillers" in my experience.

@HollyORiley: Tell me abt Dixie Rainbow's. I haven't heard of them before.

Honestly, I don't really anything about them.

I read that they are supposed to be more of a meat bird than an egg layer although it is listed as a dual purpose bird. Also I heard that they are supposed to lay large eggs.

I just started on Herbalife for weightloss and have shed 8# in 3 weeks so far. I can't exercise due to my muscle disease so I'm not walking for exercise yet. Just taking care of my zoo! BTW my name is Grammie for my grandson...my daughter's preference

Since it has been forever since I posted anything on here, I thought I would show my new baby chicks.
About 2 and a half weeks ago, I bought 8 Ameraucana and 4 Dixie Rainbow chicks from TSC.
Also 1 week ago I had some of my baby chicks hatch and then the rest hatched a few days ago. All together had 16 out of 19 hatch, but unfortunately today one of my chicks died.

These are the Ameraucana and Dixie Rainbow chicks.

I'm amazed at how much calmer they are than my hatchery chicks.

Adorable chicks! You guys are killing me with all this cuteness! Can't wait until my DH thinks we need more chicks so I can start hatching again!

Surprisingly, most of them were black with yellow on them.









^ This is the little guy that died.

He couldn't walk right and he wasn't eating, but at least he is not suffering anymore.
