Hey Everyone!  I am feeling great today!  I have just lost my 25th pound since Christmas!  Remember me assigning each chicken an exercise and when I get an egg from that chicken, I have to do that exercise? (EXP: An egg from Trixie, my frizzle EE = 10 jumping jacks)  Well, along with Nutrisystems and 12 - 15 eggs a day!  25 pounds gone!  YEA!  My DH doesn't think I need to lose more, but my original goal was to lose 35 pounds, so that is just 10 more pounds!  I' m 62 years old and feel great.  No High blood pressure, no problems except a thyroid pill a day.  Can't wait until my family sees me at our reunion in July.  BTW, my DH has lost 30 pounds in just one month on Atkins!  Men!  They just always lose weight so much faster!  But, I am so happy for him!  He needed to lose weight for all his health issues...high blood pressure, diabetes, bad back!

And, how can you guys like coffee?  It smells so good, but it tastes so yucky!  I have to do the hot tea thing!

Love you all!  It's so fun to have this thread.  People who love the same hobby as you!  I wish more of the north Georgia people were close by so we could go to auctions, etc like you guys down south!

Just feel great!

That's fantastic...good for you! It takes so much willpower and I admire you for sticking with it. It's so rewarding. I'm currently the biggest I've ever been in my life and have just joined weight watchers with my sister. I hope to have the same positive results you've had.

So off topic but I saw you guys talking about babies born in bathrooms and had to laugh that 2 of mine are kitchen babies! Birthing at home was so much better than in the hospital for me! LOL

What is up with the weather? I am trying to not complain because so many friends up north are dealing with snow but goodness it seems like the weather is toying with us here. Plus, I have eggs in the mail and I am worried!

Okay, I'm having problems with rodents too. I did a full clean on the hen house yesterday and noticed tons of droppings in the two nest boxes the girls don't use. Question 1: With the cats...how do you keep them from harming the chickens. Q2: Didn't someone say that buckeye chickens are supposed to be good mousers? Who was that and where did you get your buckeye eggs?
