Anyone else experiencing a significant drop in egg production lately? I went from getting 18-20 a day, to 16, then 14, and today only 10! It's been declining for the last 7-10 days.

Yes... but only because I lost the best layer I had - the leghorn hen.

Okay here it is!

He is already completely dry, but his down hadn't rubbed up against anything enough (such as other chicks) to fluff it out. So he still looks a bit wet with his down clumped together like that, but he's not.

Is this your BLRW chick? It would be a splash color. Love the splash. But, I love all the colors BRLW come in!

Yes, this particular one is. The chicks actually came from a blue-laced red roo, and a splash-laced red hen. So I've got about 50 percent chance for blue, and 50 percent chance for splash. But the base color should still be red on both.

Specifically, this came from General Tso, and Lemon Pepper, who were owned by Roboduck and GAMarans. They gave the pair to abmaddox, who then gave me four of their eggs. So these are definitely some BYC babies, lol
