I actually have had 2 babies at home..... and both on the bathroom floor! haha My son was a complete surprise! I didn't even think I was in labor. He was also born completely in his amniotic sac. My water never broke and we had to break the bag after he was born! AMAZING experience. He is definitely a special kiddo! Also my trouble maker. He busted his forehead at 18 months on a brick fireplace, then the day before Halloween this past year, he was playing with a broken umbrella i had thrown away, put it down to talk to me, then when he went to pick it up......***The squeemish need not read further***
and fell on it impaling himself in the throat. A little one way he would have hit his trachea and a little the other way, his carotid artery.
I have one... and there are cats that roam around here from the neighbors house. they don't do a dang thing.
the win is AWFUL here too. I made my son chase lawn chairs across the front yard and pasture. haha
My youngest child was born at home as well, although I planned to have her at home. She wasn't born until 42 weeks and I know my dates weren't off because I know the day I got pregnant.

Hospitals are for sick people and pregnancy is a natural thing. If I had complications I of course would go to a hospital, but I absolutely LOVE the way I birthed my youngest kiddos. My oldest was born in a hospital. I was only there for 12 minutes before she was born though. I should have waited at home a little longer and she would have been born on the highway in Hawaii.
