! 2 of my TSC brahmas are showing signs of CRD. Swollen eyes with fluid dischard from eyes and nose. Loss of appetite, sneezing, etc. I quarantined one yesterday, and now ive got another sick bird this morning. The SLWs in the pen with them are also getting sick (they also came from TSC)

Is anyone else dealing with this illness???

I'm SO glad I kept my other chicks on the other side of the yard!!

Our two big Marans roosters are suffering from something similar right now. We have them isolated and so far no one else is showing signs.

Maybe. My sister's cornish rocks kept dying off, and I found they were all seriously infected with mites. I treated the mite issue, but also put them all on heavy antibiotics, and the deaths stopped. Some of the symptoms of a serious mite infestation are the same - discharge, lethargic, keeping eyes shut, etc. So they could have had both. Aside from those, and chicks I resold, I have only gotten two bantams. One died of similar issues, and the other is alive and healthy.

GAM is picking them up after she drops off GAMjr at school.  They don't open until 0830 anyway.  So GAM should be pulling in any minute now.

For live poultry, they are open as soon as they call you. Even if it's 6am, if they call you, you can go get them. You just have to get to the door and knock.

They never called.  I have had birds there as long as 4 hours(according to tracking) and never got a call.  I call them as soon as I see tracking has them at the post office.  But calling them, they don't answer until after 0830.

Your post office sucks!

Mine called me everytime I got live birds, even long before I showed interest in working there.

They even failed to "hold for pickup" one time after I called them and was told they would be held. The carrier threw them on the porch and left (we were home and knew it happened) without so much as ringing the door bell or knocking. I now have a tracking number for my sweetgrass turkey eggs. Due to be delivered tomorrow. BUT.... I have used the address for our farm which has a different zip code thus a different post office. We'll see if they are any better.
